How to use Google Hangouts
***You will need a Google account to access Google Hangouts. (If you do not have an account, feel free to make one or skip down to JOIN BY PHONE instructions.)
***You may also need the Google Chrome browser. Click here to install the correct version.
For new users, have your Google account login information ready.
When prompted, "allow access" to microphone and camera use.
Click "Ask to Join” or “Join Now” when prompted.
Other useful Google Hangout notes:
We encourage you to mute yourself until you have a question or comment. This helps reduce the amount of noise in the call. Do this by clicking the “microphone” icon. (Click it again to unmute yourself.)
If you do not wish to show your face, click on the “camera” icon. (Click it again to unhide your face.)
To make Pastor Al’s face large, click the “push pin” icon. (Click it again to show everyone’s faces.")
If you wish to write a question or comment, click the “speech bubble” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Join by phone
If you do not have a Google account, nor wish to create one, you can join in for Bible study (audio only) by calling the number listed in the most recent email communications or on the mtolivestpaul.org/biblestudy page.
